How we show up for the small things, is how we show up for the big things. How are you showing up in your life?

How are you carving out your life? What passions and compassions do you share each day?

I want to ask you 2 questions:

  1.  What do you do daily to nurture yourself?

  2. How well do you know your SELF?

These are questions I ask people in my practice all the time and you would be surprised at the responses.  Ranging from nothing, to I get a massage once a month.  But what do you do daily to care for you, as you would your child, friend, or partner?  Do you really know why you do the things that you do?  Is it motivated by the need to please others, or the need to avoid looking inward?  How you set your mornings can change your day, every day.  Bringing awareness to your Self, can be the beginning of designing your life the way you want it to look.

Write 3-5 things you are grateful for today.  Do this everyday to change your perception of your life.  Try it in the morning or the evening.  Which one works best for you?

As we face struggles in our journey, we could interpret them as negativity and empty of any bliss.  However, as we get closer, often times there is bliss in the struggle.  There is a moment when you realize what you were meant to learn.  There is the moment, of being stretched just a little more and then you have that space to see, "ah, this is what I am learning".  Find your bliss even in the face of intensity.
