How to Be More Confident

How to Be More Confident

One of the comments people say to me is "you seem so confident."  And I've heard other people remark about other women, "She has a confidence about her, that's what makes her successful."  As women, we hear this a lot and it's true.  You do need a certain amount of confidence in order to gain success.

As women, confidence seems more like a luxury item rather than a standard.  It's something that is only for the "chosen" and not for the rest of the people.  But that's mostly due to our conditioning from our environment.  It's not something you are just born with necessarily, but is learned.  Many of us have learned to stifle our greatness or make ourselves shrink to be smaller.  Because of that we are not taught how to be confident.

3 Takeaways From a Mastermind Retreat

You may have heard about Masterminds or may be wondering if this is something only science nerds do!  I recently came back from a Mastermind and was really blown away with how connecting with other powerful women was so abundantly supportive to my inner growth.  It tapped into a deep part of my soul, so that I could come back home feeling more centered for my family and more passionate about my work.

How to Have Your Own Spring Fling

I always know when spring is coming.  Not because of the weather report on the news, or because of the calendar.  But because of the buds on the trees and the crocuses peaking thru the ground.  And it’s at a different “time of the year”, depending on how rough the winter was.

International Women's Day: Expressing the Feminine

International Women's Day: Expressing the Feminine

Being a Mom of two boys, and of course my daughter I thought it was important to share my thoughts about this “new” celebration.   I love that all 3 of my children know about today.  We are in celebration of the feminine and this is a reminder for us women to not forgo our gifts, our skills and our uniqueness.  (But there's more...)

The Self-Care Revolution

The Self-Care Revolution

This being February, I thought it was pertinent to bring up the topic of Self-care, which is really to say Self-Love.  How we show up for loving yourSelf is how you show up for love.  Do you push it in the back of the corner, or move it aside as soon as someone else needs something?  Are your needs first or last? Maybe you dont feel Love because you arent really Loving to your Self.

3 Books You Should Be Reading in January

3 Books You Should Be Reading in January

To know me is to know that I love to read books. During the summer months, you will find me with a good beach novel, daily.  This past summer, I poured thru over 10 books which I adored.  I typically pick a theme for the summer and will only read novels. I don’t want to think too much and want to be entertained, while the summer sun is soaking in my skin.  But my true passion is a book that transforms me.
